Nurses and Midwives (SANC)
Dear Focus on Health Members,
According to the Nursing Act 2005 (Act No. 33 of 2005) every Practitioner is to undertake CPD activities/events/programmes. A minimum of 15 CPD points will be required each year for the renewal of the Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
CPD Requirements: The CPD cycle runs from 1 July each year to 30 June of the following year. All CPD points earned during this period must be
submitted using the Declaration of Compliance form (SANC CPD Form 7) at any time during the cycle, with 30 June as the final deadline – https://www.sanc.co.za/wp-cont
