We would like to remind you of an important update that was shared with our members regarding CPD compliance and the HPCSA’s revised monitoring process.

The HPCSA has changed the way CPD points are allocated. CPD service providers are now required to upload points directly to each practitioner’s CPD profile, rather than submitting consolidated spreadsheets.

Due to the operational challenges this change has introduced, it is more important than ever that practitioners regularly monitor their CPD status on the HPCSA CPD portal to ensure ongoing compliance.

To assist our members in remaining compliant, we will:

• Notify you in advance of any CEUs that are nearing expiry
• Submit completed CEUs to the HPCSA weekly

For planning purposes, we will provide you with the full batch of 30 CEUs. However, we recommend staggering your CPD activities throughout the year to ensure continuous compliance and to avoid last-minute pressure.
